Material

Conway Stewart heritage resin British, est. 1905

Original stock from one of Britain’s great pen houses, secured out of the liquidation. Not a tribute or an imitation — the real material, and there is only so much of it left.

The story

This material was bought from a UK supplier that purchased all the old stock from the Administrators after Conway Stewart went into receivership a few years ago. They did restart under different management and retained the name.

On the lathe

Has to be tuned at high speed using very sharp tools. Takes a polish really well and is very hard wearing and designed to last decades.

Commission

Build the spec, and I’ll quote it

Pick the pen, the fittings, the plating and the material — including your own timber if you’ve got something with meaning to it. Takes about two minutes, and there’s no obligation at the end of it.
